Helen 'Bunny' O'Day is an usherette in a New York theater. She is attracted to Douglas Thaye, but she refuses his reward when she finds his missing cigarette box. Bunny's employer Ole Olsen asks her to take care of his recently inherited apartment on Park Avenue while he is at sea. Bunny agrees and is surprised when this apartment has twelve rooms and a Rolls Royce is present. The supervisor sends Charlie to Bunny. She thinks Charlie is the butler, but he sponsors a private gambling club.
