Meter i Sekundet plot
Marie's life is turned upside down when her great love Rasmus takes a teaching job at a local school in Velling. Unintentionally, Marie and Rasmus move from Copenhagen to windy West Jutland. Rasmus immediately adapts to local customs, but for Marie, who repeatedly proves herself to be an outsider for the local population, it becomes an acute culture gap. However, as she learns to listen more and talk less, she realizes that she needs Velling just as much as Velling needs her - and her quirky advice column for the local newspaper.
