Matar al Abuelito plot

Don Mariano Aguero is a widower. As a road engineer, he is exhausted because his project to build a six-lane highway has been rejected. Life has no meaning for him anymore. He makes a suicide attempt on his birthday and is found more dead than alive. His son and daughter-in-law hope only one thing: that he dies soon so they can get hold of his inheritance. When they hope that the time has come and Don Mariano is almost laid out, his faithful driver arrives with his sister-in-law Rosita. She has escaped from an asylum and has magical powers.
