Marry Me! plot

Kissy is a single mother and lives a very fulfilling life with her seven-year-old daughter Meena in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg. She lives in the somewhat dilapidated but charming house of her grandmother Sujata, where she also runs her small 'Café Devi'. Everything could be perfect, but her Indian heritage, in the form of her grandmother, plays tricks on her. After all, Sujata is ultra traditional and cannot accept that her granddaughter lives alone without a husband.
