Mantrap plot

"A silken siren - with claws"

Young and sexy Minneapolis manicurist Alverna is impulsively married to the much older Joe Easter, who hails from the countryside. She goes to live with Joe in the rural village of Mantrap in Canada. While on vacation, Alverna meets the town's famous and wealthy divorce attorney Ralph Prescott and can't resist. Initially, Joe resists Alverna's advances, but eventually he succumbs, threatening disaster.
