Paul is an assistant in a Berlin pet store who wants nothing more than to become a stand-up comedian. After a while he has achieved this goal, but completely embarrasses his best friend Hotte and his beautiful girlfriend Susi. Everyone in Germany is a fan of Paul, but in the meantime he does lose his friends and loved ones. Will he choose them, or his career?
