At 42 years old, Paul is still a convinced bachelor. While having an affair with Kathrin, he meets the woman of his life, Iris, who wants to get married after two weeks. But with another man. Leaving Kathrin, Paul wants to retire to his home and think about life. In doing so, however, he has not taken into account the love problems of his friends. Günther has fallen in love, but is too shy to tell the 'lucky' himself. Skirt hunter Schamski is knocked off the door by his wife and Bronko has been mourning his lost love for years. All three are suddenly in front of Paul's house.
