Charlie is an antiques dealer who one day manages to get his hands on a very precious vase. His clientele, however, includes an old Jewish antique dealer, Wendl, who is eager to buy the piece from Charlie. But when the trader stands his ground, Wendl must use all his powers of persuasion to persuade Charlie.
