Les Aristocrates plot

The authoritarian Marquis de Maubrun can no longer keep up with the times. He is against the proposed marriage of his daughter Daisy, who wants to marry a rich man below her rank. He gives up the fight when he finds himself alone. The fatal accident that one of his sons has is the straw that breaks the camel's back: he retires to a monastery.
