Le Fate plot
"Four kinds of queenly females...some regal, some legal, all exciting!"
Sabina, Armenia, Elena and Marta are all beautiful sexy women who all have their own virtues and vices. Armenia (Cardinale) is a lively gypsy woman who seduces the doctor, Sabina (Vitti) the femme fatale who turns all men's heads and Elena (Welch) the housewife who seduces her husband's best friend. Finally, there is Marta who makes it up with the butler. All four women are featured in a chapter, each directed separately by a different director.
