Le Dimanche de la Vie plot

A beautiful Bordeaux milliner and a young soldier marry on the eve of World War II. The couple can settle in Paris thanks to an inheritance. The woman is a clairvoyant and becomes a successful fortune teller. Her brother-in-law earns a small fortune trading arms and ammunition and when war breaks out her husband goes to the front. She has a premonition about her husband's death while others only think about how they too can benefit from the human misery of war.
