Lázaro de Tormes plot

Lazaro is charged with a serious crime and must appear in court. He has to answer for his way of life for the past thirty years and explains that if he stole something, it was only for food and not with the intention of committing offenses. During his defense, he mixes things from the past with the present and the future in the hopes of amusing the audience. But in the meantime he also denounces the lifestyle of the clergy, the rulers and many people from the city.
