Harry March is a retired writer whose life begins to unravel when a multimillionaire starts building a mansion across from his quiet home in the Hamptons. Until now he lived peacefully with his talking dog, Hector, a born-again evangelical and inveterate capitalist. To Harry, the giant mansion represents the filthy and corrupt excess that has ruined modern civilization. Which simply means this is war.
