Pitcher Wacky Waters is a star with the 'Sox' and the leading contender for the 'World Series' competition. Unfortunately, Wacky falls in love and his game suffers. But the wives of his teammates also suffer because they had counted on the money bonus from the World Series. When Wacky marries temperamental Mexican movie star Pepita Zorita, the players' wives, led by Hazel Jones, take drastic measures. They kidnap Pepita and hide her in a hotel room. But Pepita, tied up, frees herself, disguises herself as a bellhop and goes to the stadium, where the important match with her husband is being held.
