La Joie de Vivre plot

Ever since his beloved Mado died, old Monsieur Charme only thinks about being with her in heaven. However, he is too afraid to end his own life. Reine, his nurse, and Joyeux, however, want to give him a hand. But Death resists and takes Reine himself to the afterlife. Monsieur Charme is shocked and decides to postpone his plan. This offers him the opportunity to find joy in his life again.
