Kleinruppin Forever plot
Bremen 1985: The 19-year-old Tim (Tobias Schenke) is a starting professional tennis player "On Top Of The World". The girls love him, he loves them and his perfect topspin. During a school trip after Kleinruppin in the former GDR, Tim suddenly comes face to face with his unknown twin brother Ronnie, who knocks Tim down and goes back as Tim. Tim is stuck in the GDR, nobody believes him and everyone considers him Ronnie. Tim wants to flee, but it is not easy to leave the GDR in such a way. When Tim meets Jana (Anna Brueggemann), the gray GDR becomes a little more colorful and he notices that happiness means something different than having the right Lacoste shirts in the closet. But then he is offered the chance to go west with the Kleinruppin swim team...
