"Columbia's Bases Full of LAUGHS!!!"
Former baseball player Bill Johnson (William Bendix) struggles to find and keep a job. His father-in-law Jonah Evans (Ray Collins), a retired referee, advises him to train as a referee. Eventually assigned to the Texas League, everything goes as planned, until an incident spirals out of control. The affected player is unconscious and therefore cannot testify that Bill made the right decision. Then Bill's life is no longer certain...
