Bickford 'Kid Blue' (Hopper) is a bank robber in the late 1800s. After a botched robbery, Bickford decides to take legal jobs in the Texas town of Dime Box. But even under the watchful eye of the Sheriff (Johnson), Bickford struggles to stay on the straight and narrow.
