The twins Vishu and Ramu live in America with their father Rajamani. When Madhumita and her brother come to America for medical care for their ailing grandmother, the two families meet at the airport. After a few misunderstandings and setbacks, Vishu and Madhumita fall in love. The couple gets the blessing of everyone except Rajamani, the father of the twins, who is estranged from his own twin brother.
