Intimitäten plot

Peter (Viktor de Kowa) is a young stage actor who is 'engaged' to modinette Erika (Gretl Schörg). She has recently been receiving a flower tribute every day, which turns out to be from the elderly, candy-eyed Earl Dorndorff (Harald Paulsen), who is staying in a neighboring hotel and invites her to dinner. The impoverished nobleman wants to pass his time while he waits for the arrival of the wealthy widow Helene (Camilla Horn) to whom he wants to marry. Peter, who is green with envy, will thoroughly ruin the dinner by constantly appearing in different guises and disguises, a piece of cake for an actor who knows his trade. When, meanwhile, the widow has arrived, she turns out to be not only wealthy but also a beauty. Peter falls head over heels in love with her.
