"IT'S A MUSICAL HEAT WAVE!"

The editor of a sophisticated magazine, Larry MacArthur, is also a drunk. The magazine's publisher, Harold Brandon, takes him to the Auga Caliente resort to get and keep him sober. Larry has a crush on Rita Gomez, a well-known Spanish dancer he wrote a vicious article about before, though he's completely forgotten about it. Rita's uncle Jose Gomez wants to exploit Larry's crush and she agrees to flirt with him, but only to get revenge on him later.
