Ice-Capades plot
"IT'S DAZZLING! a thousand laughs...and thrills...as Hollywood's Gay Blades take to skates to "sleigh" the Blues!"
Cameraman Bob Clemens, a devoted misogynist, is assigned to cover the Lake Placid demonstration of ice skater Karen Vadja, the Swiss ice queen. He misses his plane and fails to shoot the necessary footage for a report. Believing that if you've seen one skater, you've seen them all, he goes to Central Park to film a random skater. He selects Marie Bergin, who is wanted by Immigration because she has violated the maximum period of her visa. Promoter Larry Herman then decides to let her star in an ice spectacle he calls "Ice-Capades."
