Hurra - Ein Junge! plot

Confusion arises when the past of Waldemar (Theo Lingen), director of the state library, comes to light. In his student days, he married an unmarried mother, out of pity, so that her child could have a decent life with a respectable name. And now that the woman is dead, his adult "son" is suddenly in front of him. And that while Waldemar is about to enter into a real marriage.
