Rough sea dog John Patrick Duke has a weakness for women and spirits. He doesn't know that he won a million dollars at Longchamp with the help of the horses. Earlier, he caused a riot in a French hotel. He therefore thinks that he is being followed when officials want to inform him of the cash prize. In the end, John and his friend Axel are forced to accept the money. This way they can have a party with their French friends.
