"Where is your heart really?"

Jana van Tonder, who lives in a run-down neighborhood with her disabled parents, watches the Oscars show and is inspired to secure her own Hollywood moment on the red carpets of the upcoming 'Matric' farewell dance. Then her crush breaks up with his girlfriend and she must muster the courage to ask him for a dance. At the same time, her best friend and neighbor Frikkie is finally motivated to confess his secret love for her. With only a month to go, Jana finds herself in a love dilemma between her best buddy and the boyfriend of her dreams.
