Holiday Joy plot
After her mother's death, Joy Hockstatter tries to help her father keep the family together. Despite being only 15 years old, she tries to become a kind of surrogate mother for her older and younger brother. Every day she looks across the street at the perfect life of the Wellman family. After a freak accident, Joy wakes up as one of the Wellmans, with a new mother, father and older sister. Her life seems to have gotten better at first. However, her real family's life is going downhill and the only one Joy seems to recognize from her past life is her old dog, Levi.
