"See why two little words made by PAUL MUNI tore the town in two!"
Editor-in-chief Brad Bradshaw refuses to publish a story linking Frank Canfield's disappearance to a bank embezzlement. He believes that Frank is an honest person. However, other newspapers do publish this story and Brad is sued by his publisher and he is demoted. Brad wants his job back, so he sets out to find Canfield and the stolen money.
