Herrliche Zeiten im Spessart plot
Anneliese, whose father runs a hotel in Spessart, wants to marry American rocket specialist Frank Green. But during the wedding preparations, he is sent to a secret NATO mission in America. Suddenly the "Spessart ghosts" land on the roof of the hotel, after floating around in the universe for seven years. To be released from their existence as ghosts they have to do a good deed and so they offer Anneliese their help. They want to bring Anneliese to America, but due to a technical error they make time jumps to the old Germans and other times. How do they get back to their own time?
