The farming town of Herman places an appeal for female company. If more than 1000 women respond, the lives of the Hermanse farmers will change forever. The small farming community has everything but women. Dennis (Michael O'Keefe) encourages everyone to invite women to their annual harvest festival. The first reactions trickle in, followed by a torrent of faxes, letters and phone calls...all from women! What started as a tactical move has turned into a media spectacle. Harvest weekend begins and the women arrive with cartloads: from 37 states and 4 countries. Love is in the air and the town is turned upside down. Walter (Garth Schmacher), an ordinary farmer, falls in love, Shooter (Tony Mockus) ends up at the altar and Wayne (Kevin Chamberlin), a pig farmer, finally finds the one. Dennis falls for the wrong person and even Vernon (Richard Wharron) and Sigurd (Wally Dunn) score!
