Help Wanted - Male plot

Leona Stafford inherits $1,000 and invests that money in a plan to hook a wealthy husband. She buys a new wardrobe and takes it to a genteel hotel, where she pretends to be a widow with a mysterious past. Her behavior arouses the suspicions of the hotel receptionist, who suspects she is behind the kidnapping of Captain Cromwell, a wealthy aviator who has been missing for some time.
