"EVERYONE'S KIND OF MUSIC!"

Entertainer "Happy" Dan Briggs wants his son and artist Dan Briggs Jr. has a better life than himself and he releases him from his act. Creative wardrobe girl Susan Brent, who is a fan of Dan Briggs Jr., helps him land a job in a big band. But despite his successes with this band, Dan remains estranged from his father. Susan tries to bring father and son Briggs back together through her writing skills.
