The script is a good start, but with the limited budget and the actors in this film, it mainly feels like a theater performance instead of a film. With her own charms, but ultimately found too light. The supporting roles do not always do well and the humor also expires after a while. Towards the end we were shaken awake with the arrival of actor Gilles De Schryver. Ella Leyers is nice on a poster, but can't act. Veerle Baetens can do so much better. But luckily Koen De Graeve, Jurgen Delnaet and Evelien Bosmans are doing well.

I found this film very bizarre about the new owner of a small castle who sees a ghostly apparition of the old owner of the building. However, the plot does not get off the ground and just muddles on. The playing time of two hours is therefore much too long.
A whole Flemish star cast, but not enough for their qualities. It is also strange that, for example, Stef's friends, including Tom Audenaert, do not appear in the piece afterwards. Some bullshit is then sold about Stef's divorce and his difficult relationship with his ex, but that is all rumbling in the margins.
The location is great and that makes up for something, but as a story too thin. Rather a setback.
