"Murray's been in and out of love, in and out of town, and in and out of trouble."
Murray Lewis Jr. (Sam Bottoms) has a bad day: his bass guitar is confiscated, his wife refuses to end their divorce and even his suicide fails. Then, when he discovers that his father has died, while he has always thought that his father died thirty years ago, he decides to go to Mexico for the funeral and his legacy. Once in Mexico, however, he has to deal with all kinds of strange figures who are also after the legacy.
