"Like your odds?"

Jessica Nieves-Sanders is a drama teacher at a high school in Queens. She desperately wants to be a mother before she turns 40. After several failed attempts to conceive, she is forced to explore alternative methods. When she's about to throw in the towel, she meets the young professional con artist Bridget. She claims to be able to give Jessica what she wants. They strike a deal, but before Jessica can process it, she suddenly finds herself entangled in the criminal underworld.
