Martin is the epitome of a pragmatic, successful, somewhat cynical New Yorker. Yet something gnaws; he feels detached. Especially from his father, Kenneth, a distant man he never understood. Especially not after Kenneth came out later in life and started a new life with Ted. When Kenneth dies, Martin goes to the Cape Cod house to sell it, but will have to deal with Ted and the memory and loss of the man they both loved.
