"The Big Musical with Broadway Flair and a Western Air!"
Rich man's son Danny Churchill (Mickey Rooney) likes wine, women and singing more than studying. His father therefore sends him to a university in the west, where no women are admitted. But immediately upon arrival Danny discovers a pair of beautiful legs under a parked sports car. Those legs belong to the principal's granddaughter. But the beautiful Ginger Gray (Judy Garland) isn't interested in Danny's advances.
