Frozen Stupid plot

On his day off, Tony Norgard wants to go ice fishing. Unfortunately for him, he has to go to his mother-in-law's birthday. In order to get out of the birthday party and still be able to go fishing, he tells his wife that he is sick. His little white lie works, because his wife believes him and goes alone to her mother's, so that nothing stands in the way of Tony to go ice fishing. His lie, however, seems to work like a curse, as bad luck haunts him that day. This is how he meets his father Frank and it seems that little is happening with fishing.
