Faites-Moi Confiance plot
Max is an illusionist without success. He wants to marry Helene, the daughter of Sir Bombardon, who owns a music hall. To impress him, he asks for help from third parties. A friend supplies him with the accessories for a scene and he gets a "magic clock" from him. When he enters his number, however, things go wrong and he himself remains locked in that clock.
