Espina plot

Jonathan, a Venezuelan emigrant in Mexico City, is embittered after losing his job and decides to travel to Panama before undergoing back surgery. Paralyzed and unable to make the journey alone, he convinces a failed actress and a cynical playboy to accompany him. With the money raised for his "surgery," the trio embarks on an unusual journey through the Panamanian countryside, where the true reason for the trip soon comes to light: revenge for an old grudge.
