Eskapade plot

Madame Hélène, a Polish patriot who works as a secret agent, is looking for a way to find a safe entrance to Tsarist Russia to help her imprisoned friends. She meets an itinerant American, George Alexander, and asks him for help getting her to Russia. He allows her to travel on his passport as his wife.
