Era Lui... Sì! Sì! plot
Walter Milani (Walter Chiari) is a good-hearted clerk in a large department store. He discovers that his boss Fernando (Carlo Campanini) is terrified of him. It turns out that Fernando is plagued by rather Freudian nightmares and delusions, in which Walter Milani keeps showing up as the culprit. With the help of a psychiatrist, his boss tries to overcome his fears, while the unhappy Milani doesn't know how to react when Fernando showers him with all kinds of favors.
