Georg Weiser's journey takes a turn for the worse when his coat and papers are stolen. While chasing the thief, Georg is caught and ends up behind bars on the island of La Gomera. When he finally manages to escape, he is pursued by the Spanish police chief Vidal. Can he stay hidden long enough to contact the home front?
