En Manaivi plot

The handsome and wealthy young man Dhanapal Guputa is fascinated by the beauty and chastity of a young dancer girl, Revathy. Against her mother's wishes, they marry in a temple with only themselves as witnesses. Vembu Iyer, a middle-aged doctor, is constantly concerned about his feisty wife Chellam. She does whatever she wants and is rarely home. One day he comes across Revathy, who feels dizzy and faints. While Vembu comes to her rescue, his angry wife Chellam sees this happening from a window. She thinks they are lovers.
