Elopement plot
"The Funniest Comedy of the Year!"
Industrial designer Howard Osborne wants his daughter, Jacqueline, to follow in his footsteps and study abroad. But after graduating, she meets psychology professor Matt Reagan and falls in love with him. They decide to run away, and she only tells her godfather. He has to tell her after her parents find out she's gone. Jacqueline's parents are furious with Matt's parents, but when it turns out that they aren't happy either, the two couples set out to find the runaway couple.
