The summer of 1986. Erik is a quiet and shy boy, but very passionate when it comes to God and rock 'n' roll. His dream comes true when he is asked to provide the sound for 316, his favorite Christian rock band. After a blistering performance at a talent show, they meet Skip Wick, a cheerful and Lord-loving promoter. He wants to take 316 out for gigs and make an album. The ultimate chance to make Jesus more famous goes awry when sixteen-year-old Sarah, the daughter of a bereaved pastor, hides in the band's campervan.
