"A Seductive Spectacle of Historic Proportions!"
Cleopatra (Sofia Loren) sleeps with one of her bodyguards every night, then has them poisoned the next morning. When she wants to meet Mark Antony one night, she forces her slave Nisca (Sofia Loren), who is very similar to her, to take her place. The bodyguard guarding the so-called Cleopatra falls in love with the woman he thinks is Cleopatra. There is an agitated atmosphere in Egypt the next day, when it turns out that he is still alive.
