Doggy Bag plot
Because her mother prefers her dog to her, a young woman imagines that the animal is dying. She leaves for Paris alone one night to bury the animal. There she meets a man who explains to her that a dead dog can bring in a lot of money. And so she tries to sell it to a Chinese restaurant, to a fur trader and other people. Each time the young woman tells a funny story, a history of a dog.
