Struggling actress Audrey and aspiring playwright Lillian put all their creative energy into the only paid work they can find: role-play demonstrations. When they book the biggest gig of their career at a hotel conference, they embark on their most ambitious project to date. The resulting tensions, however, threaten the production and their friendship.
