Die Lila Weihnachtsgeschichte plot

Eleven-year-old Hubert doesn't know how to pass the time to relieve his boredom. Only way out: annoy the neighbors with all kinds of antics. But when he wakes up in the morning, he is confronted with atrocities that he did not commit. He is said to have stolen a jar of red paint and snacked on the Christmas cake. And also in the circus, Karuso, a circus elephant, is painted all red. It is a matter of honor for Hubert to find out who steals red paint and paints elephants red. At the circus he meets Lila, who claims she is an angel, but she is only visible to Hubert, to no one else. Lila says she's on Earth to play pranks on people.
