Dicke Freunde plot
In 1983, West German politician Franz-Jozef Strauss (Josef Bierbichler) granted a multi-billion dollar loan to the GDR regime he hated so much. The control cousin in the background was Alexander Schalck-Golodkowski (Horst Krause), at the same time part of the GDR state apparatus, and a good friend of Strauss. In 1989 he went into hiding with the help of the West German secret service, and after a number of difficult investigations, a lawsuit against him was started in 1995. However, the question is whether anything illegal can ever be proven.
